LCD Display Diagnostics & Troubleshooting #
System Self-Check & Error Detection #
When powering on the Joyor S10 / S10-S, the LCD throttle display communicates with both the front and rear controllers to execute a real-time system self-check. If a fault is detected in the throttle, brake cut-off sensors, motor Hall sensors, or communication line, a corresponding fault code (E-01 to E-18) flashes on the LCD. Cycle through screen modes (TIME → TRIP → ODO → VOL → ERR → TIME) using the Power/Mode buttons to view active fault logs.

⚠️ Critical Note: Post-Reset Voltage Calibration (P03) #
Always verify P03 = 60 immediately after running a P99 factory reset!
Performing a P99 reset reverts system defaults to baseline parameters. If P03 changes to 36V or 48V, the controller will misread the 60V battery pack voltage, triggering constant low voltage alarms (E-05) or sudden power cut-offs under heavy acceleration.
60V Battery Maintenance & Charger Guidelines #
- Initial Charge: Fully charge the battery prior to first use until charger LED turns green.
- Storage Protocol: If unused for extended periods, charge at least once every 30 days to prevent battery cell depletion below BMS recovery threshold.
- Charging Environment: Always charge in a dry, well-ventilated area away from flammable materials. Disconnect charger once full.
- Water Protection: Avoid riding in heavy rain or through puddles deeper than 3 cm. Water entering the deck or battery enclosure voids all manufacturer warranty coverage.
