1. Safety & Regulatory Compliance #
- Adult Use Only: Designed for adults and strictly limited to one rider per use. Minors must only ride under direct adult supervision.
- German ABE Compliance: Manufactured in compliance with German ABE (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis) regulations. Capped at 20 km/h for public road legality in Germany.
- Pre-Ride Inspection: Before every ride, ensure the quick-release clamp, brake levers, and folding mechanism are securely locked.
- Environmental Restrictions: Avoid heavy rain or deep puddles. Do not submerge the scooter in water deeper than 3 cm to protect electrical components.
2. Quick Assembly & First Time Setup #
- Unbox & Inspect: Carefully remove the scooter and verify that all main components (display, brake levers, shock absorbers) are intact.
- Unfold the Column: Release the quick-release clamping ring, raise the steering column to a fully upright position, and securely lock the folding mechanism.
- Install Handlebars: Align the handlebars with the steering column, insert the fastening bolts, and tighten them evenly using appropriate tools.
- First-Time Charge: Connect the original Joyor charger and charge fully before your initial ride to balance the battery cells.

4. Dashboard & Riding Modes #
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power button on the display.
- Speed Gear Switching: Short press the
⚙️button to shift gear up (Gear 1 → 2 → 3). Short press the▶button to shift down (Gear 3 → 2 → 1). - Headlight Control: Short press the
⚙️button to toggle the front headlight on or off. - Push Mode (Walk Assist): In Gear 1, 2, or 3, press and hold the
▷button for 5 seconds until the “↔” icon appears. Squeeze any brake lever to exit Push Mode immediately. - P-Settings Access: Press and hold
⚙️and▶simultaneously for 2 seconds to enter the menu. Use⚙️to switch parameters/increase values, and▶to decrease values.
5. Battery Care & Daily Maintenance #
- Charging Safety: Always use the original Joyor charger. Never charge unattended overnight or near flammable materials.
- Long-Term Storage: Charge to 40-50% and recharge at least once every 30 days if unused for extended periods to prevent deep discharge.
- Brake Inspection: Regularly check disk brake pads and cables. Replace worn pads immediately to maintain optimal stopping distance.
- Cleaning: Clean with a damp cloth only. Never use high-pressure water jets directly on the motor or battery hub.
